Top 10 Tips For Clean and Clear Skin

  • Start with a clean slate — Clear skin starts with a clean diet and a fresh start, which means avoiding sugar, processed foods, dairy products, gluten-containing grains, and additives of any kind and going easy on the sun.
  • Hydrate well — Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day (minimum 64 ounces) as drinking enough water helps regulate blood pressure and flush toxins from the body.
  • Use quality facial moisturizer or oil — A good face moisturizer or oil will help restore balance in your skin oils by supplying them with essential fatty acids that are necessary for healthy skin cell growth and repair.
  • Exfoliate every week — When you exfoliate regularly (preferably at least two times per week), it removes dead cells that can lead to blemishes over time.
  • Take antioxidant supplements wisely- While antioxidants may offer some health benefits for clear skin overall there is still no evidence that taking high doses (~2000mg/day) of any specific supplement is effective.
  • Avoid using harsh cleansers — Harsh cleansers, such as those with hydroquinone or sulfates, strip the skin of its natural oils and can lead to inflammation and blemishes.
  • Use a retinoid cream nightly– A retinoid cream will help reduce the appearance of pores and wrinkles while improving your skin’s barrier function.
  • Avoid excessive sun exposure- Sun exposure is not only harmful to your health but it’s also one of the top causes of damage to your skin (including Age fighting). Limit yourself to 30 minutes per day of direct sun exposure and wear sunscreen every day.
  • Drink plenty of water and promote healthy eating habits- Eating a balanced, nutritious diet will help maintain clear skin while avoiding harmful substances such as sugar, processed foods, and dairy products.
  • Follow these general skin care guidelines- Use a sunscreen that is adequately Broad Spectrum (SPF 30 or higher), avoid using harsh cleansers, use a retinoid cream nightly and drink plenty of water.

The Evolution of Volleyball Clothes: From Basic Uniforms to Stylish Team Apparel

Volleyball has come a long way since its inception, not only in terms of gameplay but also in the evolution of the clothes worn by players. What started as basic uniforms has now transformed into stylish team apparel that reflects the spirit and energy of the sport. Let's delve into the journey of how volleyball clothes have evolved over the years. Early Days: Basic Uniforms When volleyball was first introduced as a sport in 1895, the clothing worn by players was simple and functional. Men typically wore loose-fitting shorts and tank tops, while women wore modest dresses or blouses with bloomers. These early uniforms focused more on comfort and mobility rather than style. Introduction of Standardized Uniforms As volleyball gained popularity and became more organized, standardized uniforms were introduced to create a sense of unity among team members. In the mid-20th century, teams began wearing matching jerseys and shorts, usually in solid colors with minimal design elements. Tec...
